What: GIRL POWER is a project initiated by the Junior League of Tyler, Inc. (JLT) to develop the leadership skills of 6th grade girls in our community by promoting self-esteem and confidence; health and nutrition; and a spirit of volunteerism.
Who: Smith County Sixth Grade Girls
Main Events: JLT will host two Girl Power events. Each event will include motivational speakers, educational demonstrations and team building activities.

Saturday, September 28, 2013 · 8:30-11:30 a.m.
- Girl Power · “Fit & Fab”
Saturday, January 25, 2014 · 8:30-11:30 a.m.
Where: One Ten Student Center · 1505 Troup Hwy · Tyler
Chaperones: All girls must be accompanied by a school-approved and appointed chaperone or parent, unless other arrangements are made with the Jr. League. This person will coordinate transportation and must remain with their girls throughout the event. Contact your school to identify or inquire about being a Girl Power Leader!
Cost: FREE (registration includes a Free T-shirt)
