Welcome to the website of the Junior League of Tyler!
Founded in 1950 as the Tyler Service League, the Junior League of Tyler, Inc. is an organization of over 780 members dedicated to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving our community. This year, the Junior League of Tyler will donate more than $256,000 to 26 deserving non-profit Smith County agencies in the areas of arts & education, health services, and youth and family issues.
The financial impact that Junior League of Tyler makes in our community is paired with over 20,000 hours of volunteer service from our dedicated, trained members. These women carry out the mission with a sense of responsibility and a commitment to excellence that touches the lives of women, children, and families.
Our contribution to the community would not be possible without the tremendous support that we receive from our members, underwriters, partners, and friends. Because of your faithful support, the Junior League of Tyler is able to "Build a Better Tyler" year after year.
I encourage you to celebrate the season November 7-10 at the second largest Junior League holiday market in Texas, Mistletoe and Magic. Come find a bargain at our Spring Sweep held February 23, 2008. Finally, make sure you have your copy of the "official cookbook of Tyler," And Roses for the Table, our classic, Cooking Through Rose Colored Glasses, or our newest cookbook for children, Ring Around the Rosie! Know that your purchases support the projects and placements of the Junior League of Tyler.
Enjoy browsing our website as you learn more about our involvement in Tyler and Smith County and how you can support our charitable endeavors.
