JLT Members Participate in Topics of Tyler

On February 10th, members of the Junior League of Tyler, Inc. heard from community leaders during their first Topics of Tyler event. The event took place at Willowbrook Country Club.

Panelists for Topics of Tyler included:

  • Mr. Tom Mullins, President/CEO of the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce and Tyler Economic Development Council
  • Mr. Jimmy Toler, City of Tyler Chief of Police

The panelists addressed a multitude of issues facing Tyler and surrounding communities, including construction at Harvey Hall, downtown revitalization plans, community safety, public education, and much more! The evening also included a Q&A to allow members to ask questions of the panelists
