Mistletoe & Magic Makes a Difference:

Maybe you want to make a difference in your community, but are not sure where to start? When you participate in Mistletoe & Magic, you are doing just that! Every year, the Junior League of Tyler raises funds through this unique shopping event. The dollars raised are then used to support critical needs in our community. A ticket to brunch provides the funds to supply backpacks for children; a chance drawing ticket gives hot meals to a family in need; purchasing tickets to our events provides Christmas gifts for a child who has been affected by physical and/or sexual abuse.

Mistletoe & Magic has been a Tyler holiday staple for over forty-five years. People of all ages come to enjoy this four-day shopping event with special retailers from across the state and country. When you participate, you are not only making it possible for the Junior League to give monetarily to these organizations, but also to give hours of service from our members who are all trained volunteers.

Who we are:

The Junior League of Tyler is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. This has been the mission of the Junior League’s members since 1950. In almost seven decades of service, the Junior League of Tyler has contributed volunteer hours and money to over 200 local agencies, and has been instrumental in founding of local organizations such as The Hospice of East Texas, Discovery Science Place and Tyler Museum of Art.
